Caroline Mullins,

MA LMHCA (She/Her)

Professional

My name is Caroline (she/her/hers) and as a mental health counselor, I strive to create a safe and inclusive environment so we can explore what is bringing you into therapy. I am passionate about helping people navigate life stressors and heal from trauma so that they can be their truest, most authentic self. Therapy is your personal journey, and I am honored to provide support throughout this process. My therapeutic strategy is grounded in Person-Centered Therapy, while pulling from a number of other evidence-based practices so that your therapy experience is based on your needs. I believe that every individual is unique and that having a space designed for your needs can generate growth, understanding, and empowerment. I have experience utilizing methods from Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Population

I enjoy working with teens and adults (13 years old and older) who are experiencing anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and trauma- and stressor-related disorders. In particular, much of my experience has centered around helping those who have experienced sexual, physical, and emotional abuse.

About Me

I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, with a minor in Human Services, from Elon University in North Carolina. From there, I was honored to have the opportunity to work with children, teens, and adults in various settings within the mental health field, including inpatient and outpatient services. Upon completing my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University, I worked in a community mental health setting providing counseling for children, teens, and adults. Born and raised on the East Coast, I have been in Seattle now for 5 years and absolutely feel at home. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, taking my dog for long walks, watching movies, and being creative.
