Katrina Lindauer,

MA, LMHC, NCC, PMH-C, (She/Her)

Professional

My name is Katrina, and I am a licensed mental health counselor. I promote a safe and honest environment as you sort through whatever has brought you to therapy. I am interactive and integrative in my approach and incorporate humor when appropriate. I am foundationally trained in cognitive behavioral therapy and incorporate other evidence-based practices to develop an individualized and person-centered plan for your care (e.g., exposure and response prevention). I respect the level of vulnerability needed to fully participate in counseling, and I’m grateful to be a source of support.

Population

I enjoy working with people who are experiencing anxiety and mood disorders (including depression), grief, gender and sexual identity, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. I have received extensive training and certification for both the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (and related disorders) as well as Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. I treat ages 16 and older.

About me

I completed my graduate training in 2009. I attended Pacific University (Oregon) and hold a master of arts degree in counseling psychology. I participated in a year-long practicum at Oregon Health and Sciences University. I have worked in both community mental health and private health care settings. I am a Washington native. I enjoy nature, reading, music, and travel.
